Last time I ordered from Sprue Brothers I needed some paint but threw in the KV-I and Soviet tank figures I posted on the new items thread. I think it was the same S&H you posted. So it’s an excuse to order new kits I don’t need!
Biggest international shipping question I have is- why is it so expensive to ship something from the US to Canada??? I was going to ship a two kilo container of plaster to a forum member in Canada and was told it’d be eighty bucks to ship the fifteen dollar can!!! I mean stick it on a friggin’ truck and drive north till you see different flags on the poles! It doesn’t even have to go overseas!
Yup. I’m one of those guys who gives the massive tips for the relief and convenience of the whole thing. I don’t work for free, and I sure as hell don’t expect anyone else to work for free. [H]
In my case, I have my SprueBrothers items in my hands before Scalehobbyist even ships the items I ordered on the same day I placed the order with SprueBrothers. To me, its worth paying a couple extra bucks for faster service. There are always going to be tradeoffs.
I almost never put myself in a position where I need it yesterday.Faster service? The most I wait for Scalehobbyist is a week,I’d rather save a few bucks for a few days.
In the past I’ve ordered kits from China and payed the lowest rate,I waited 6 weeks, they came, didn’t need them to come tomorrow just to sit in my stash.
