Spraying flats in high humidity works for me

Don’t ask me why.

(I have to do my painting in a out building where the humidity is not controlled.)

It must have to do with the random arrangement of flat paint particles allowing moisture to escape. I’ve been painting like this for years, with humidity near 60%, but wouldn’t dare try glosses in high humidity as they will blush which traps moisture.

John Mahaffey told me one time that you can spray flat black anywhere, anytime. Snowing, raining, hot or cold. Tis a truth. I’ve never had issues with the other colors either.
