When my Lanc is done, I’m planning to make my PM 1/72 Spitfire Floatplane.
I’m going to use:
*almost the intire Revell 1/72 Spitfire Mk.Vb kit
*the rudder, floats, spinner and prop of the PM kit
*and, the Tropical Airfilter of the Revell 1/72 Hurricane Mk.IIc.
I think it’s going to look wonderfull when it’s finished !!![:D]
Well, my question to you guys is: is the tropical airfilter used on Hurricanes the same as on Spitfires?

Why not do the Trumpeter 1/24 Spit on floats [:)].
I believe the trop filter used on the Spit & hurricane were the same basic design, but the outer fairing was shaped slightly differently to conform to the individual airframe. The outer fairing on the Hurricane appears to be slightly smaller & thinner than the Spitfire.

Because I can’t find it here in Belgium. I will try to order it when I’m older ( and when my unbuildkits-mountain is smaller !!!
And I’m more a 1/72 builder…
