Just wondering…
Which tool to use if I need to open a round hole in a wing or a fuselage? Hobby knife is not the best tool. Still kind of new to all the tools and equipment. Any info or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,

for micro bits, go with a pin vise. A spiral drill will snap them of if you move it side to side the slightest bit.
I use a spiral drill with more durable bits. A pin vise will turn through thin plastic in just a few turns. Half the time, I don’t even chuck the bit. I just use my fingers to twist it through.
I love my pinvise, one of the great tools in my tool chest.
Perfect for opening holes on plastic models.
A Tip: Make a pilot hole with a bit that is smaller than the final hole your after. This gives you an opportunity to check and make sure your hole is placed properly and it will guide the larger bit that is your final diameter.
