Spares for Royalmax(?) Airbrush

Hi Folks,

This airbrush came with a compressor kit… I believe it’s a Royalmax AB-130 however there’s no literature to confirm its provenance other than what you see in the header below.

The AB-130 appears to ship with a 0.3mm needle and nozzle, and are supposed to take a variety of calibres from 0.2mm to 0.5mm. I’ll damned if I can find any spares or the alternative needle/nozzles though.

Have any of you been able to crack the code, or did you just see it for the entry-level airbrush that it was and commit to a more reputable brand for your next airbrush?

Cheers

RoyalMax has a website https://www.royalmax.com/Airbrush/AB-130-Royalmax-Dual-action-Airbrush-2688.html

They are in China (of course, everything is) You can try contacting them at info@royalairbrush.com

From their website/photos they look very much like a SparMax, which is a Anest-Iwata off-brand. Try looking up SparMax

Thanks mate, yeah I’ll probably have to take a run at RoyalMax and see if they’ll sell spare parts…

Superficially they look like a Sparmax alright, but on the inside the Sparmax nozzle is completely different to the press-in nozzle my airbrush has

Temu can sell me replacement .3mm nozzles by the bucket load that look the part, but no nozzle/needle combinations - I’m also assuming there’s a semi-unique relationship between the nozzle and the taper of the needle so jamming any old .3mm needle in will not be helpful

Either way, the cost of a replacement nozzle/needle for a more available and reputable brand seems to eclipse the cost of buying a brand new Chinese knock-off airbrush set. Just seems wasteful to toss the whole unit because one easily replaceable part has an issue - And I don’t actually have an issue with any parts… yet
