Spares box "Put - Together"

Dang, here I am kitbashing starships like there’s no tomorrow (now there’s an ironic statement), and I never once thought of kitbashing an airplane! Brilliant!

Interesting little plane you got there. My spare box really just has armorment and drop tanks and decals.

I might have to get involved if we do a Part Box GB. Could be done for all the forum users. The Sci-Fi group do this a lot, imagine the tanks, ships and cars that could be made (the figure one could get a little messy thou).

Excellent. So different and original!!

Thanks Dave, John, falcon, philp, and zokissima!

I hope there are more… Wait a minute… LOOKhere comes “Skeeter” in a low pass!!

Take care,
Frank

Hi Frank.
thanks for your e-mail. i will be keeping an eye on that auction. a model of this aircraft would look great next to the civil models that i am about to start on.
cheers
Greg

Very imaginative and creative, Frank ! Looks like you got your money’s worth out of your spares box ! Looks like you really had some fun there. Well done !

Such a good use of spare time Frank!

Such a pretty kit to tickle the imagination.
Your work is seamless ,it looks very possible.

great talant and great job… keep it up

Thanks Bill (yes, it’s always fun to build something where the instruction sheet is in our head… as you well know! [:)]), obiwan, Lisa (to borrow a subject from another post; real names, I like the name Lisa also… the married lady I’ve been living with for the last 22 years is named Lisa too! [;)]), and Glen.

Take good care and thanks again,
Frank

Frank,

I was doin OK till I read the part about “Embalmers Restorative Art Wax” [:0]

I don’t think I want to know what’s left in your “parts box” !

Your last name isn’t “Enstien” is it ?

Seriously - Nice, creative build man !

[:)]Chris

that looks really cool.

Very creative and convincing to boot![:)] If you’re coming to Phoenix for the covention, you should bring it!

Thanks Chris (Embalmers Restorative Art Wax is an excellent molding medium for shaping parts that’s not in the box because it holds it’s shape and takes paint well… hey, it’s made to hold up during the worst of circumstances, so why not modeling? [;)]), Harley, and Jim. I appreciate your kind words! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Hey Frank, here I am finally, it took me while to find this thread back after all that time.
I’ve found something interesting. Have you ever heard of the “Eldred” ???

Nope ???

Here she is…

Amazing coincidence isn’t it…

Well I’ll be [censored]!!! [:o] Isn’t that something!! They sure had the same idea, as far as the floats go, and pretty dead on with the verticle’s too! That’s a great find, Dan! Wonder what the history of that thing is?

Thanks for your post, and going back though all the others to find it! [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Hiya Frank,
That is GREAT… Love it. LMAO[:p][:p][:p][:p][;)], Very creative to boot. How long did it take to complete her?
Flaps up, Mike

Hi Frank,
I had never thought of building from the spares box-until now! A very creative and inventive model! Thanks for sharing.

I heard that the Thunderbirds (Not USN group) is missing one of their machines.
Great work Frank!
