When I first joined FSM, I did a lot of in-flight compositions using Photoshop. I had a series of pics that I was assembling into a little story. A few of the individual pics were posted here, but never the entire series. Now that I can present it in a way that I want, I thought I’d post the whole series here. The storyline is pretty corny, and there are only twelve images in it. It’s something I want to continue doing (if I can find the time), so I can see this as a first attempt at another way of bringing a little life to some painted plastic shapes.
Very cool…I like it alot. A few of the photos don’t enlarge when clicked upon, though, at least not for me. I just get a big blank outline with the little red X in the corner.
I don’t think it’s all THAT corny, really… [:)]
Neat effort. Definately something different in the way of presenting models. It is certainly a big improvement over just a picture of model sitting on a board.
Great concept, would love to see you expand on this idea. Its like graphic novels, modelling, CGI, and story telling all rolled up into something bigger than all its parts.
ygmodeler - it may be a while. The website, commission builds, and my own projects are all pretty hungry for my time right now. I’ll be adding others that I’ve done in the past to my site, as soon as I can find on which CDs they’re located !
uproar - all the pics are there and the links are working. They’re a little large (1024 x 768 pixels, about 150k in size),. I have broadband, so I don’t know how well they respond with dial-up.
waikong - the only elements I “created” were the props, and a couple pilot figures. All the rest (including the fire and smoke) is from photos.
