Ive been told that my painting style is “gritty” Im assuming that this is some kind of compliment as I do try to make my figure look realistic instead of the cartoony look .As this is the site where realism is foremost I thought Id see what you guys think. Comments critcisms and ideas as to how I can improve my quest for realism welcome.
White metal figures seldom got as smooth a finish as would Resin & Plastic figures would have. You could try a primer like Surfacer 500/100 which should get a smoother surface but might loose a bit of fine-detail in that scale.
Model Museum thanx for the tip , the coat on the Kal Jerico does look a bit pitted in places I`ll look out for that primer.

The Minotaur I sold recently and it got broke in transit , so Im kinda gutted about that and for the poor guy that bought it. Thankfully it was minor damage and the guy wasnt too annoyed but it still irks me. Im working on a Space marine Squad for a group build here with some of the cool new releases GW have brought out.
