Perhaps the fishhead needs to be placed back into the dustbin. Its quit obvious that hia bad temper is due to the lack of "good lovin " from his woman.[:(((][:(((]

I build some year ago the f-4f using the e version from italeri but with oldest (i think) camo pattern , and another F version from revell ready to start . Mine old f-4 is not comparable to your [:XX]
You mean tamiya reboxed the old italeri phantom? if you mean this is the second case i know, another is the su-34 (original mold is from italeri)…

Those are some really excellent builds cml. Very nice weathering indeed. I greatly appreciate you sharing as I certainly enjoy checking out other folks builds.

As for the reboxing, I think Tamiya have reboxed a number of Italeri jet kits in the 1/72 scale. I’ve also built an AV-8B that was a rebox - not a bad little kit too.
I think it might have been done as a market gap filler for Tamiya.
