Over the last several months I’ve emailed English instructions for Heller’s Soleil Royal to several people. It recently came to my attention that page 27 of 28 was missing. The missing page has now been scanned and I’ll gladly send it to anyone who I’ve previously sent plans to if you’ll send me your email address. Should anyone else be interested I have several printed copies of the original English instructions from the early 70’s version when it was Aurora/Heller as well as a now complete PDF version. This isn’t the horrible translatuion version attached to the French plans but a full English deal with superior illustrations. Ask and they’re yours.

Is that the same as the La Re’ale By Aurora/Heller?

Hi, I’m writing to request clear, English instructions for the wooden model ship “El Soleil Royal” for my husband. His translated instructions are practically worthless and causing him much frustration–not good for a person with heart disease! Your help is very much appreciated!

Aloha jeffpez, could I too get emailed the royal soleil instructions in English.

i have built many models including Heller made, but the royal soleil is too loaded with detail parts, paint colors, etc. for me to try and guess my way through like I do with Heller planes and their smaller less complex warships. Thank you sir.

I just received my model and see that the hull is all black. Should I paint it like white before I paint it the color I need? or just paint it the color I need?

I finally started on the model. Noticed the hull is all black. Should I prime it with white primer?

Can you please send a copy of the original Aurora/Heller plans for the soliel royal. I bought one in 1977 and it was destroyed when a drunk drove into mu house. The model I have is French with english at the end and are tiny font. I’m 77 and need a little larger than 9pt. I’d appreciate all the help I can get and hope I don’t die before I finish it.
