So........what did Santa bring YOU ?

[party]I’d been dropping hints to the wife for something in big scale…she’s a good girl.

As it’s still the 24th on this end, I’m still waiting to open presents. Have fun building that Harrier.

Scott

Hey thats not fair! It’s not Xmas here yet! Nice score though. I hope you have a large work bench. I build the 1/24 Stuka last year and I never seemed to have the room I needed to work. I also predicted what would happen to it when it was done. Being that it was so large I hade to put it on top of a loudspeaker stand because it was the only place it would fit. As I predicted about three months later I knocked it of sending into a steep nose dive were it wedge itself in between the speaker and the wall. In the dive the bomb and rack broke lose along with all of the trailing edge control surfaces and the rudder! Hope you have better luck and post some pics when you start on her. I do not beleive I have seen one of these monsters build up yet.

Soulcrusher

A big freaking WW1 mahogany airplane propeller for my studio wall. I love my wife!!!

I got an Airfix 1/48 early Spitfire Mk.I! [tup]

Didn’t get a good look while she was wrapping it, [BH]but, I did get a glimpse of a Spitfire.[party] Guess I’ll have to wait a couple more hours to see it.

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.

Jim[4:-)]

A completely insufficient supply of modeling related items. 0. [:(]

Some one must have missed a memo somewhere.[sigh]

HOWEVER,… I did get the complete first season of the History Channel’s Dogfights and more Family Guy episodes on DVD.

Freakin’ Sweet! Hehehehehehehe.

Out-bloody-standing!!!
I got an Iwata double action HP-Hiline…the one with the 0.2mm tip…How good is that?
I don’t know what they’re worth in the US, but they’re just under $400 here…
Now I’m looking forward to those wicked Luftwaffe mottled paint schemes…can’t wait!!

I gotta Iwata too. Sorry, couldn’t resist. My Mother-in-law picked me up an Eclipse. Can’t wait to try it out.

Merry Christmas!

Henry

An all copper outdoor firepit. And dinners for 50 at St. Anthony.

well I suspect I will have $$$ to get kits and/or a new airbrush or both.

my son got, but has not opened an Me 109, Spitfire MkII,

early Tiger I, Panzer Kampwagen II and motorcycle with sidecar.

Well, as far as modeling related stuff I got a PROXONE 1/3 hp compressor

Got a Kodak 6.2mp digital camera(still working on figuring out how to take a picture of my camera without doing one of those stupid mirror shots)

Some new xacto blades, and a couple bottles of metalizer

Oh and even though I got him september, this little guy is still a christmas presant

And I am pretty sure I got a 1/48 scale revell kit, I havent opend it yet but the box is the exact size and shape of the revell 1/48 F-15 Strike eagle

Dunno yet. It’s still the 24th here. only a half hour to go, but i’m going to bed as the kids will be up early. Besides, they seem to be wired [sigh]

Pics in the Secret Santa GB, but got an Eduard Avia B.534 from Brad for the group build (thanks a million Brad!), and my daughters got me a Battle Axe Caudron C.714 I found on sale at my LHS and dropped several large hints on, and a Hasegawa Marseille Bf-109F-4 Trop. Merry Christmas all!

No models, but a load of books, including…

…Bomber Boys, Letters from Iwo Jima amongst others.

Should provide plenty of modeling inspiration for 2008.

Happy Xmas All.

Karl

Merry Christmas everyone[:D]

I opened my Secret Santa gift (FAA GB), thanks Mike (ruddrat)[:)]

Mike gave me a 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk1 with a Cutting Edge resin seat and white metal wheels, prop, prop hub and exhaust. Very cool[tup]

Roy

No models for me (apparently I have too many), but four boxed DVD sets of planes, tanks and battlefield things, Socks, undies, pizza cutter, shirt … way more than I got last year

David (HereticXIX) gave me this awesome Arado 234 for the Secret Santa GB. I’ve been looking through the parts, and this is an AWESOME kit. Just awesome!

James (KINGTHAD) surprised me with these sets of Spitfire decals- too cool!

My family really did some cool stuff, and they did it together. I have my new “Man Cave”, and they worked together to make these curtains for the door. They photgraphed my favorite builds, and made iron-on decals of them, with the pilots name!

They also framed these two prints for me to hand on the walls:

To my family here at home, and to my family online, from all over the globe- MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Our family is celebrating a split Christmas this year. That is we had part of our gathering a week ago and will gather again next Saturday. Work schedules and sharing our kids with their extended familys (inlaws) means everyone must make sacrifices so everyone can share in the festivities of the season. That said, Santa did deliver a little something quite useful in the workshop…

A couple of new knives

and whats a knife without an ample supply of blades

I’ll be doing a review on them all shortly!

I got (among other non model retaled items) a resin 1/48 Embraer Tucano (I received it a week ago, so i´m finishing the cammo but still count as a christmas present) and a decal set for an Argentinian PBY Catalina. and soon I will recive the eduard PE set for the academy´s catalina. A productive christmas, don´t you think???

jajaj best regards for all
