So I says to the guy; I says...

The other day a kid in my school tried to convince me that while he was at the Calgary airport, a military cargo jet was unloading six Tiger tanks off of it to be displayed at the museum of the regiments.

That’s funny, I didn’t know the museum had such a need for six of them. I didn’t know six working ones even existed! Well, I didn’t know a cargo jet could hold six 60 tonne tanks! Hmm… I’d better check on my sources.[%-)]

Seems like wishful thinking to me. That is a ton of weight, and I agree, there aren’t 6 working ones around. I think Bovington has the only working one in the world.

Did he mention what scale they were?? [;)]

Took the words right out of my mouth Brian. Semper Fi, mike

LOLOL

Too funny!

Maybe there was a 1/16, 1/25, 1/35, 1/48, 1/72, and 1/144!! One of each scale makes 6 different ones!

was it a Galaxy transport? it would have to have been

Bovingtons got the only working Tiger1s left and ive seen it, i was nearly hit by it it was that close
i think theres only 5 Tiger 1s left anyway

  1. Bovington
    2 . Kubinka
  2. Samour
    4 . a field in Russia
    5 . and Sinsheim

If something like this were true it would probably have been all over miltary and modelling websites. OTOH, could they be mocked up Tigers?

Just for the sake of argument, could even a C-5 carry a 360-ton load?

Captain, as much as it would have hurt, it would be pretty cool to be able to say you’ve been hit by a Tiger!

You could have sued Bovington for inuries and had them give you the Tiger!!
