As a general comment would you go for it…Found a hurricane IV version and a Me 109F4 1/72 for 6 euros lets say 7$…

SMER is not known for high quality but the price sounds pretty good. I have seen a few of their 48th scale planes turned into real beauties.
The Hurricane and Bf.109 sound like the Heller kits reboxed. SMER do a lot of this. Generally, SMER kits are fairly basic, often re-issues of other firms’ moulds, but are quite cheap, and fun to practice your skills on.
Occasionally, however, they come up with some real gems, such as their 1/72 Sturmovik series. Also, their 1/48 Supermarine Walrus, although based on the ancient Merit kit, has good decals, and with time, patience, good references and a modicum of skill, can be turned into as good a model as the Classic Airframes model, which costs 6 times as much!
