For a long time now I’ve wanted to build a U.S.Navy SH-3H Seaking in the 1/72 scale to add to my collection of U.S.Navy / Marine Corps Helicopters . However after many hours searching hobby stores and the internet I can’t seem to find any Seakings in this scale . {I did buy Lindbergs snap-fit SH-3A but It’s very basic and not really worth the $20, I paid for it .} Anyway why is this particular helicopter so hard to find , when there are so many Westland Seakings on the market .

hope it helps…
Fujumi made one in 1/72nd scale. I remember seeing the Testors version back in the 80’s. A SH-3H Seaking “Flying Tiger” by Fujumi does appear in Squadron Mail Orders 2005 Catalog for around $20 bucks you might try their website (Item# FU72073 in the catalog). I have also seen a few of the old Fujumi/Testors kits crop up on e-bay every now and then. I don’t now how good the kits are but they have to be better than Lindbergs “toy”.
Thanks for the advice derekms , I’ll check out Squadron Mail Order see what I can find.
You can find them on Ebay every now and then too. You just have to promise not to bid against me! [:D]
Could you kitbash a more detailed kit using the new Revell Westland Sea King and old Fujimi parts?
