sIG33 15cm Heavy Infantry Gun

This is a AFV Club kit, it was somewhat difficult build. Tons of very small parts. In the cup is a lot of ammunition, rocket, parts of shell casings.

Artillery pieces are tough.. Lots of small parts all over.. Love this one, particularly on top of a Pz I..!!

Very cool! The Germans found during their 1939 invasion of Poland that they struggled to keep up with the Panzers, so created SturmPanzer I which essentially parked the gun and its limber on top of a Panzer I Ausf B with a simple shield to protect crews from small arms fire. The guns were found to be too heavy for the Panzer I chassis, and were later mounted to specially extended Panzer II Ausf B chassis ahead of the North Africa campaign called Sturmpanzer II. Maybe there’s a SturmPanzer-sized hole in your display case if you can brave this gun again?
