Good start,I was looking at that kit,I like the machine gunner figure.
Having fit problems with the boggie wheel assembly. They are built correctly, they look crocked on the tank. I got the box for Christmas. It came with two Sherman tanks, my wife brought it from Andy’s Hobby Headquarters. She got it on sale, not sure what the price was.
Maybe the sprue gates are not allowing the parts to fit true. Have you cleaned those off?
