Shep Paine Diorama Sheets

Guys,

I am looking for a couple of the old Shep Paine diorama sheets from the old Monogram armor kits. I need the M29 Weasel sheet, the German Wirblewind sheet and the German Stug IV sheet. I have several of the other sheets for trade.

Thanks,

Dave Manter dmmanter@frontier.com

What exactly is a diorama ‘sheet’ Not being a wise guy or anything just I have no idea what that is???

Possibly a brass sheet of photo etch details?

Post some pictures if you can of the others. Thanks.

Jason

The old Monogram armor and aircraft kits used to come with a printed 1-2 page “article” by Shep Paine showing the model built into a diorama. They showed outstanding work for the time. This link will take you to some of the sheets online:

Here’s the C-47:

Wow! That B-29 sheet really takes me back. Excuse me, I’ll be at my bench.

I have a few myself… none to trade tho… my fav was the “Lady Be Good” B-24 and the P-61 Widow…

try http://sheperdpaine.atspace.com/ it has the sheets, not for sale but you could copy and paste them into microsoft word and print them off for yourself. thats what i did.

You might want to try this one too - http://www.itzproductions.com/Misc_Pages/shep_paine.htm
