This one is the Revell 1/48 B-26B with ESCI decals for the ‘Big Hairy Bird’
Finish is Alclad 2 Aluminum and Dark Aluminum.
I think you’ve got the Axis’ number!! Nice bird.
Swanny,
I am completely awed at the models you do[bow][bow][bow][bow]
Not on the quality which is beyond reproach but the quantity[8D]
Where do you find the time[?] Do you have five or six projects going on at one time[?]
If only I could be 1/10 as good[:(]
But, I sure do enjoy looking at the finished product - keep it up[:D]

Excellent! Just awesome … and the presentation is great, too.
Mean looking. [bow][bow][bow]
Very nice … “u da man” … [swg] … thanks so much for sharing … [^]
Great looking model Swanny. I’m really impressed by your speed and skills!
Just want to say “Thanks” for all the comments. I’m not really that fast - it usually takes me about four months to build a model but I always have four or five going so while I do crank out about one finished kit per month, each one of those is actually four months or more of work.
Tomorrow the Head-to Head review of this kit and the ESCI kit will be up on my site.
Swanny, great looking Marauder. It’s one of my favorite WWII warbirds, and you’ve done it great justice with your buids. Keep them coming. - Ed
Truly amazing work swanny. the props, they motorized or did you use clear plastic to represent in motion props? either way the effect is awsome I humbly bow to your master craftsmanship (btw the stripes look much better from this angle
RSaddlemire: Very intresting pic you have there… I likes
Now that’s a sweet looking B-26!! (been putting off getting me one of those!)
Love the photography!!
Thanks!
Frank
Aidan, the model was hung from a puppeteer’s jig in front of a blue screen with a large window fan blowing on it to spin the props.
Frank, if I knew how much work was going to be involved in these two birds I would still be putting it off.
Nice Swanny! I really like that nose art, cool paintjob!!
A really great build and a super photograph. I first thought it might be a photochop from Adobe. Outstanding work and photography.
SWANNY, SWANNY, SWANNY, I cannot say anymore.
All hail the Swanny!
[bow][bow] We are not worthy! We are not worthy! [bow][bow]
Try taking the same pic very slightly out of focus in black and white, and you’ve got a genuine war photo there!
Super job again, thanks for the pic.
Nice work, Swanny!
great looking plane, nice job.
