Does Academy Produce a kit for the 1/48 scale
Only one two kits available as I know… Testors/Italeri in 1/72 and Italeri (??) in 1/200 although I’m not 100% certain about that later (I know it was part of a kit with other stealth aircraft).
Nothing in 1/48 as of yet!
No 1/48 B-2
You have the 1/72 by Testors which is quite big, and a 1/144 by Revell… I also am not sure if there are others… But those two are the ones I know of
As of yet, no company makes the B-2 in 1/48.
Testors makes the largest scale and it’s in 1/72. The plane has a wingspan of about 28 inches. Having built the plane, I can tell you that you’ll have a lot of fit problems. Others seem to be experiencing the same thing.
You might want to check out this thread in which we discussed a 1/48 B-2. . http://tinyurl.com/3mqgd Unless Revell releases a B-2 in their giant styrene series, it’s very unlikely one will be made. Also, it would be 16 inches long and about 3.5 feet wide.
