For a very long time, I’ve been on the hunt for 1/72 scale modern US Navy figures/sailors in dress whites. Like the people you see manning the rails of ships. So far, I haven’t found any. But I’ve come close.
Long, long ago on Shapeways, there was a company called Panzer vs Tanks. And I believe the person/creator was known as Holden8702. He made all sorts of WW2 figures in various scales, countries, poses, etc., etc.
Below is a sample picture of some figures he made.
Whatever happened to the guy/company? Is he still around? Are the figures still being produced and can be bought someplace?

Thanks for bringing him to my attention! My dad was an Otter mechanic in Viet Nam. I’ve been wanting to do a diorama of him and his buddies working on an Otter. Maybe Holden8702 can help me with the figurines.
edit: or maybe this is my excuse for buying a resin printer.

Every project is an opportunity to add that one tool you want (not necessarily need), though a 3D printer is a pretty significant investment. Go for it!
When I get a winning lottery ticket, then I’ll consider a 3D printer.
Same, but not necessarily because they are expensive, mors si id need to add an additional room to my house.
