It seems that in a recent thread someone mentioned that there were no existing shots of one of these (I can’t recall which one)…But I have a few in case someone is interested…
Beav, mentioned that on the first page of the “Nazi Halftrack weapoints?” thread.
Somebody here build one a few years back… I can’t recall who it was though… There was a few good reference pics in that tread.
lol, Really? I thought we had a discussion a few weeks ago in which this was mentioned as the holy grail of reference pics?
edit I’m also apologize if I posted any false information that mislead or harmed anyone in anyway during their internet lurking activites. [oX)]
Sturm & Drang # 3 has plenty 'o pics of the ambulance version…I’ll post some tommorrow…I think the interior of the 290/8 might be the Holy Grail—this certaily isn’t…
SdKfz 251/8 ambulance interior shots aren’t that rare. The Sdkfz 250/8 Stummel interior shots are what’s rare!
Naw, neither of you guys have it right. Get me a picture or detailed schematic of a 7TP interior and I will send you money…or bow down to your glory. I’ve only seen a picture through the rear hatch of the prototype turret, a side view line drawing of the turret, one picture, rear view clearly showing the engine, and a color painting with cut-aways, accuracy unknown. Also, a TKS-D interior would be great.
And while i’m going, if anyone could get inside shots of that mammoth tank at the patton museum, it think its numbered T28/29 or so; I would be very interested. Or shots of the Maus interior at Kubinka…or more pictures (and interiors!!) of that weird rolling tank that they also have at kubinka…or if you could get me an access pass to either of the remaining A7Vs…lol the list goes on.
