Fantastic Shweinhund, i’m lovin’ it! You are inspirin’ me to do the same on my Panzer IV. This is great work, well done!
Awsome work!
Thanks for the comments guys [:)]
The pics are working for me? Must have been a bandwith problem?
Cheers, Jan [:)]
Very nice progress. I really like the figure. What make is it?
Cheers
Rob
Jan,
Dont put to much TLC on those scratches and dings [}:)]
Ben
Rob, the figure is by Scale-line, looks nice, but it needed a lot of filler around the arms and a lot of seam removing [:(]
Ben, i won’t [swg]
Cheers, Jan [:)]
lovely job on the weathering looks great wish i could help you out with the tarp but i myself havent painted one yet but i will follow how you do yours for reference [:)].
Loving it so far. It inspires me to try a whitewash someday. I have no suggestions on the tarp, but it looks fine to me. Are you going to put any snow itself on it?
If I want to experiment that scotch tape paint chipping technique on my next model, what should I know?
Thanks guys!
I’ve repainted the tarp with some more green/grey added, i’ll post some pics soon…
Yann, the chips are all handpainted (one by one) it is much easier to control the process this way [;)]
Cheers, Jan [:)]
Started to put some paint on the figure…
I’ve repainted the tarp, i think it looks better like this [:)]

What do you think??
Thanks for looking, Jan [:)]
I think it looks great, and I bet it looks even better viewed from a normal perspective! Ya’ see, with canvas and cloth type material, the weatherin’ needs to be much more subtle in it’s application, and all hard edges need to be blended. If you have an airbrush, then you can use that. Once the base colour is on, shoot a highlight colour or two, Bob’s your auntie!! Airbrush is the way to go, on things like this!
