Does anyone know what colors are on this Sdkfz.10 in this b/w photo? I’m guessing the lighter shade is dark yellow. The image details state it was taken in May or Jun 44…please see photo at URL below.

Looks like the main color is Panzer Grey… Look at this linky here. It could be the same scheme?
Summer '44 and probably Eastern Front. Darker color is most likely olivegrun given the time of year. Could also have patches of rotbraun but impossible to say for sure one way or the other. The “cross hatch” or “giraffe” type pattern was seen frequently on the Russian steppes so my bet would be on 2-tone with olivegrun.

Panzer gray under the DY is also a possibility but that would mean that it is likely either a) the caption/date on the photo is wrong or b) not a front-line unit/vehicle that was still in the older Pz Gray scheme and didn’t get a repaint when the switch over happened (less plausible as you get that far into '44 but never-say-never with German gear [;)]). Difficult to say…either approach would make for an eye-catching scheme. [;)]
