Ok this is my first post on the new forums and first one in a while on the SdKfz 7. For anyone who doesnt remember or is new here, this is a combo of the two Tamiya kits. This project actually started as a armored cab quad 20mm but as it progressed my attention diverted to building a soft cab 37mm. I cut the two kits in half at the bed/cab joint. Realized this was too much and had to add some plastic to this one to get the proper it. My original plan was to use wood on the bed sides and rear on the 37mm but after fitting and such decided that the mesh looked better. Will doo wood on the quad 20mm. I have completed the bulk of the painting and have only a few spots to detail then I will start the weathering process. I have marked it to represent a vehicle from 21st Panzer Div. in Normandy in 1944. I plan to add a few crew items as I am considring building a dio around it. Well here are a few pics.
