Since Scale Auto no longer exists I’m not sure where to post this.
When I try to open one of the PDFs’ A dialog box comes up asking for a password to open it. By chance does anyone know how to get around that?

Looks like you are trying to open one of the data .pdfs directly. I assume the issue pdfs are password protected to prevent them showing up on the internet (since they are intellectual property). Try opening the interface that came with the CD. It should be the file “ScaleAutoArchive.exe” and if you’ve downloaded the CD, it will be located in the Scale Auto First 35 Years 1979 - 2013 folder.

Thanks for the reply guys. i was wanting to view them on my tablet while in the hobby room. I’m not buying a laptop just to study PDFs for modeling when I can buy a whole crapload of kits with that money lol Sorry for the late reply. Covid isnt a lie. it freaking sucks. Get vaxxed . — Mike
