I’m thinking, remove the arrestor hook from the SBD and you have an A-24 Banshee?? Banshee was simply a SBD in the USAAF (covering a few versions).
The A-24 also used a pneumatic tail wheel, as opposed to the solid rubber tail wheel used on carrier deck based SBDs.

I may be putting my foot in my mouth here…but basically they were the same plane with a few minor operational differences (e.g. lack of a need for a tail hook for the Army, tail wheel, etc.) So, yeah. If you’re looking to make a particular Dauntless/Banshee, then I’d pay more attention to the variant and the changes made throughout its progression. Any other changes would be cosmetic and easily fixed. =]
