Save your money boys and girls, a new Tiger I is on the way!

I’m so glad companies are starting to listen to us and produce kits of vehicles that have NEVER been done before in styrene!!!

(Shameless Sarcasm [}:)])

Erhh i think you should read the link again … this company will be building 1/1 working replicas, not models.

The idea is good i think. There are a number of armor collectors out there that would have the kind of money that it takes to buy something like that. BUT if i had the money to buy a replica i would want it to be an exact replica, not drive by wire, with modern engine and modern transmission. Maybe the movie industry will be a customer ?

Movie Industry and maybe reenactment groups if they have a huge budget, I know reenacters have converted ot810’s for their 251’s, but I think that this would break most budgets.

I don’t think that collectors would want one, if I had the scratch to find and restore military vehicles I’d only want real ones.

Whoops sorry guys! I saw that first picture of a tiger quickly and took it for box art, and decided I’d read enough reviews on models of Tigers. Guess I should’a looked a bit closer.

It comes with 2 FOOD(?) pedals. [dinner]

How much?

ARM?

Leg?

Both?

Like they say, if you have to ask then you probably couldn’t afford it anyway![:D]

I wonder if PE Zim will be available for this?Might have to use the real stuff![swg]

then find a field to apply it in so it can be genuine “field applied” zim,

<::runs quickly out of the thread::>

lol

and leave it out in the rain for a few days and then drag it through several muddy puddles for that extra dusty, extra rusty weathering look. I wonder what color chips they will be using.

Zimm it when it gets here, it’ll save on shipping costs and will allow your inner artist to come out when you paint your camo on it. (Hint: you’ll need a larger airbrush and don’t buy the little XF-60 mini bottles)

I wonder if the kids are gonna put those durned “spoilers” and loud mufflers on theirs? [(-D]

When I win the Powerball, I’m gonna get me one.

when i win the lottery it will be an excellent companion piece to go with the me262 that messerscmitt is building. as long as they’re taking requests, howzabout a hawker typhoon?

Pimp My Tiger.I’d like to see the crazy V-Dub guy launch that with a catapult.

Pimp my tiger, now that sounds like a cool idea for a group build! Everyone take a tiger (mayby a tamiya or italari, so that we dont have to use an expensive dragon kit) and paint them up like cars. I can see it now, with spinners on all the road wheels and neon underglow. Mayby even a pair of fuzzy dice by the commander? I know I would do it. Anyone intersted?

Seriously though, that tiger reproduction looks like a great thing for the movie industry. As long as its cheaper to buy than to upgrade a T34, we could be looking at a future of ww2 movies with real looking tigers!

[(-D] that was an awesome commercial…

So they guy that signed the press release is named “Karl-Heinz”! That’s like the German equivalent of Billy Bob. Greatness. Maybe they’ll do a Firefly next, use one of those Ford V-10s with a supercharger, more historically correct, don’t ya know.
