What color should sand bags be painted?
Tan seems to dark, dirty white is too light.
I am not good at this color matching, I have trouble matching my socks!!

Recently, I used Tamiya buff. Doesnt look great. I think that a little kaki, buff, and dark yellow mixed together might work. I dunno though. Strait buff with some weathering is working for me.
burlap, and if they are stacked throw a little of the color of the surrounding dirt on some, especially the botttom couple of rows.
ditto to rebelreenactor. I’ve found out that in most situations regardless of color, a little weathering is the key to achieving a realistic look.
