SAMCON (Stateline Area Modelers) is having their annual model show in Durand, Illinois on Oct. 4, 2025.
This is a small local show held in a church building.

This show looks interesting. I always liked attending shows in the Fall before the snow arrived in the Midwest. There used to be a contest held up in Wausau,WI every October and the ride up North was always enjoyable with the Fall colors.
As I said, it’s a small show. Not very many vendors either.
Last year was my first time going there. Got a 1st Place award and a Best Diorama award for my 16" Gun Turret Memorial display.

I’m not planning to go to this show on Oct. 4. If anybody else plans to go, please take plenty of pics if you can and post them in this thread to share so everybody can see what was at the show.
