Ryefield Model 1/48 Mig-21MF

Just released, brand new tooled from RFM. This is a really good kit, goes together great. However I had a couple of issues. The resin wheels which are included, so made by RFM were loose on the gear legs and were very awkward to align. The windscreen is not a flush fit and required gluing one side, athen applying pressure to splay the other side to fit flush. The same applie to the canopy if you want it closed. Oter than that, RFM have done a splendid job on their first aircraft kit.

Great job. Camo and finish looks awesome. Glad to hear the kit goes together fairly well. I didn’t know RFM did any aircraft.

This is their first aircraft, no doubt there will be more Mig-21 variants at some stage.

Interesting, didn’t realize they did a/c kits.I did find the one armor kit that I did very complicated with many tiny parts.
Nice job on the Mig.

Masterful work. Looks great all around. This is an interesting subject. Thanks for posting.

Looks amazing! If you’ve built the Eduard MiG-21 how does it compare and would you recommend this kit?

I’ve built 4 or 5 Eduard ones, this kit is on par, I wouldn’t say it’s better, however this one has the option of the open panels OOB, Eduard do not.
