I just returned from the lhs (Hornet Hobbies In Toronto). I am now the proud owner of a Famo. Wow this model looks great. I was going to buy a resin Famo last christmas along with the tank trailer. Instead i did that very very hard thing and waited. I did buy the trailer though.
In looking at the revell model I am sure glad I waited. very detailed suspension, lots of non slip engraving on the floor. Even the cage round the spare wheel is there. Along a sheet of clear plastic to make the windscreen (no out of scale moulded plastic). Oh and tow bars for whatever favorite vehicle you want to put in that diorama you been aching to make. All in all short of shelling out very big bucks on a Resin or going to 1/35 and even bigger buck’s this is the nicest model to come along in ages.
Only things i can find to criticise is that the tires are very nicely molded nice tread pattern, which should have been molded in one peice not two. But thats being picky. hrmmm really stretching for that one.
