REVELL VISIBLE B17G KIT 85-5614

New to this forum and am not sure I’m in the right place. What I’m looking for is the part number for the visible fuselage side of the 1:48 Revell Visible B-17 kit number 85-5614. I recently purchased this online but the clear fuselage was cracked and it had no instructions. I’m using the instructions from an old Revell B-17 without the visible side. Any help would be appreciated so I can contact Revell and see if they can replace the cracked fuselage.

You can order the piece through their website but you might want to call them in reagards to it since it looks like it is discontinued and they may no longer have replacement parts for it

Welcome to the forum! I just so happen to have that kit on my desk. The only description in the instructions for the the clear fuselage half is listed as “LEFT FUSELAGE CLEAR”. You will want to get a copy of the B-17G instructions as it is completely different kit than the F. If you want I can scan the instructions and send them to you. On the instructions it shows the contact info as :

not to sound negative here, but good luck contacting them by phone. when i got their re-issued 1/48 B-24D it was suppoed to have flight crewmen…i tried every business day for 3 weeks to reach them by phone but all the lines were busy.

Thanks guys for your help. Appreciate the offer for the instructions but I do have instructions for the B-17G (kit 5600) just not the visible B-17G. I’ll try contacting Revell and see what happens.

Panzer826 let us know how you make out with Revell. I have delt with them several times and have always been satisfied. Most of the time you have to leave a message for a call back.
