Ok Guys,
I will start a topic for this model because I’ve been looking for an exclusive topic for this model and I didnt found nothing, If this not the right way, please excuse…Im noob [:D]
Ok, lets talk about this model.
All the model is being armed using just the Revell US Air Force Set Colours because I didnt found nothing more here in my country. I need to start to look for those colombians stores [:)]
Im using a Humbol Poly Cement Colle Polystyrene but Ive just read that Revell Contacta is much better. Any idea about this?
Ok, Ive started at December of 2003, but I have some job issued and I had stopped this hobbie. But 3 weeks ago Im on the way to finish it.
it seems I need to improve in the use of the brush, because the gray part it really sucks ! [:(!]

Ok, this is the advance in the cockpit, please notice we are facing some problems with a broken material where is supossed to be located front windows [:(]
Im asking for it in another thread.

Thanks for these, its nice to see models underway. Keep the build photos coming
How have you found the kit, do the parts fit well, did you have any difficulty getting all the wheels to track properly etc?
Well, I had some problems adjusting the cockpit, because instructions was not clear about some important adjustements and if you check carefully the last picture you will see some space at the top of the doors.
But I think basically this is question of experience, and for the next chance I’ve learned that is important try all connections before glue them.
Thats all for the moment [:p]

wow thats looking cool charlie[bow][bow][bow][bow]
here is the bed, in the process of painting

Here is the URAL just missing decals…

awsome, i have that kit too, not completed though. are you gonna weather it any?
Very cool, great job !!!
I think I would like to build one of those. I have never built anything military related though.
Nice clean build. Like Junior modeler said , are you going to weather it at all? I think a wash and some dry brushing would really bring out the detail of the truck alot. That and maybe some cargo in the back. Great job though and thanks for putting up the pics.
I would like to weather it, but I dont have any experience so far in that area…but with your help…just let me know where to find more information about those techiques and i will try it [;)]
this would be a good question for the armor guys. just ask some basic weathering techniques. a wash is a black substance that goes in the small rivets and panels, drybrushing highlightes raised detail and provides a faded finish, pastels are great too. like i said, they can tell you more. i will think you will find weathering very enjoyable though. it my favorite part [:p].
There are alot of topics on here as well on weathering. Not sure if the search function is working right yet , but try searching weathering and you will come up with all sorts of stuff.
Like, wow, man. That’s cool.
