I have built a couple of the Dragon UH-1D/H kits. It goes together pretty well. They don’t tell you which parts to use for which version, so do your research as there are parts for any version from a Vietnam-era D model through a late '80s H model.

Here is my latest build. I am working on a UH-1H SAR from White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. It is in the Hi-Vis / Arctic scheme. I recently flew on this bird and thought it was pretty cool. Here are a couple pics of the actual helo.

Here is my latest build. It is a UH-1H MedEvac Huey form Vietnam. It started life as a 1/35 Panda UH-1D/H model. I corrected some of the deficiencies in the kit, namely a lot of holes for incorrect antennas for a Vietnam helo. I also used the excellent Cobra Company UH-1 Detail/ Correction Set , #3511 to replace much of the detailless and out of scale interior parts.
