I have just started building the 1/48 Revell/Monogram F-18 Hornet.Anyone that has built this kit,is there anything I should watch out for?Comments mch appreciated.

A good solid kit for price vs. plastic. I’ve built several over the years.
Some fit issues in the forward fusalage. You’ll erase a bit of the raised panel detail correcting this area. Tail planes are supposed to be connected via a thin rod that breaks easily- might want to replace with a metal rod or do something else with it.
I’ve built a few over the years also and the major things I learned is the seam under the leading edge needs to be clamped real good when you glue and even then ,get the putty out. That and the main gear(with the wheel in place) is hard to keep in place during gluing.I don’t put the main wheels on until after the the gear is stable. Hope it helps.
