Hi all,
I am looking to buy my first compressor, I have done a fair bit of research and keep coming back to the Revell Master Class.
Is it good? If not I would love any recommendations!

I’m mostly just bumping your post. I don’t know much about that particular compressor but what I’ve seen of it it sure seems pricey. There are lots of good options out there for less.
Which country do you live?
Do you rent or live in a home? Do you do home improvement projects?
Do you have a car or bike that needs to have its tires inflated?
Are there small children or others who may be disturbed by a loud compressor?
I know in the States there are multiple different options.
I have a 1 gallon pancake compressor (Porter-Cable) with enough oomph to power my airbrush, run an air die grinder, pressurize my casting tank, inflate car tires, and drive nails for projects around the home. It was about 40 USD including the nail gun. It is noisy, but only until the tank fills, then it cuts off.
EDIT: I went and looked the Revell compressor up. It is a diaphram compressor. These are notorious for being buzzy loud and the air pulses. A tank or reservoir become a necessity to avoid the pulse-induced spitting. There are better options.
I have a tankless Iwata compressor. It turns at high rpm, and the air does pulsate but at a high speed. Since this was my first tankless compressor, I was a bit worried at first. But I have had it several years now, and find the pulsations do not affect the finish. If it is a high rate pulsation I think it is not a problem.
I started pondering your question being skeptical of the Revell Masterclass. But the more I read the better it looks. 50db is quiet, dual piston is good, a tank is a big plus in my book, built-in regulator.
I found this** thread you might want to look at. Note that Bish is a well-respected builder and member here who had one. I wonder if he might chime in and if it’s still serving him well after all these years?

Yes…in the reply or edit GUI it does. But as soon as it is posted, it disappears. At least on Firefox. I think if I’d have remembered to do as you said as I composed the original message, it probably would have worked. But it won’t on edit. Hotlinks are really fickle here. But I can be too so I guess it’s ok.
It’s the hotlink button and GUI not functioning that I complain endlessly about, though.

It seems really expensive to me. About what I paid for my mini table saw.

My memory is too full to try to remember under which conditions the hotlink thing works here. [:P] I’m only smart enough to know sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and it sometimes annoys me. [:D]

And the compressor is expensive. Curiousity is getting the best of me, I might PM Bish and see if he might chime in here.
I’ve had one of these for 10 years and its still going strong. Prior to that i had one with a single tank so kept stopping to top up, so i wanted a dual tank compressor. When i checked i noticed that the Revell one came in 3 standards, and being a bit flush, i opted for the top of the range model. yes, it is pricey but it worked perfectly. I have not had any issues with it, never had to replace or fix anything. I think it was around the £180 mark at the time, and its money well spent.
I have mine in the shed so noise isn’t an issue. But the first couple of years i had it i was living in barracks and never had any complaints.
I can’t compare it to others, but i have no plans on replacing mine. I use it with badger 100 and 150 airbrushes.
