Revell Gamma compressor and Devilbiss Aerograph super 93 - opinions?

Hi Everyone

I’m quite new to airbrushing, until now I’ve been using a cheap single-action revell airbrush and gas canisters, and have struggled with fine detail, I think due to the high pressue from the gas can.

However, I’m now looking at getting a Badger 155 Anthem (or possibly a Devilbiss Aerograph super 93?) and a compressor.

I’ve found these on ebay.co.uk - a Revell Gamma for £97 ($160 ish?), and a badger 155 and the devilbiss 93 both for £85 (130 ish?) but can’t find anything about how good the compressor and Devilbiss is on the internet.

What do you all think of these?

I’ve heard that Devilbliss makes excellent airbrushes, though I’ve never used one. I’ve checked them out on the internet, and they appear to be impressive, though I don’t know how well they’d work for modeling. We need a slightly larger tip for slightly larger pigments.

I don’t know a thing about that compressor.

Yeah, it seems no one has heard of that compressor.

Well, regarding the airbrush I think I’ll go for the Badger 155 to be safe.

I own several Aerograph air brushes- excellent for detail stuff and illustrations. You will need the High flow nozzle and needle to spray model paints with one as the fine and extra fine nozzles are .15mm and .1mm in size. the 155 would be a better airbrush for modeling.
