Hello guys, was simply wondering if I was the only one who had these very old models from 1980’s consisting of the three vehicle collection from the G.I.Joe line… anyone else have these? If so Share pictures of the ones you built, if you still have them!

I still have the tank and had the Jeep. I do not remember ever building the motorcycle, not sure if I ever owned it or not. Yo Joe!

The bike is pretty sweet. rather fun to build. but they left out so many decals on the tank and bike that just made me make my own!
Loved those GI Joe toys… I grew up in 1980’s. My parents still have three boxes of them and my boys play with those now every time we visit. Wondering how much they are worth now? Probably not as much as Star Wars toys which I wish I didn’t give away… [bnghead]
I was born in the mid-80’s and absolutely love GI Joe, how hard are these kits to come by? And yeah, I wish I had more of my old toys, I’d have several thousand dollars (in these market) worth of 80’s Joes. Local general store used to sell the stuff from the early 80’s at really low prices so my mom would buy me 5 from an older product line instead of just one. The early 80’s stuff can get pricey these days.
Back in the day (83-85ish), they were fairly common, but not very popular model kits. I’ve seen them pop up on eBay every now and then. I’m usually tempted, but they were rather crude (in detail) model kits. Designed to be played with versus a display kit.
To me, the only REAL GI Joes were 11 inches tall, often had life-like hair and beard and later ones had Kung Fu grip. Between me and my brother, we had just about every one of the original GI Joes and most of the toys and play sets.

Well, I wouldn’t say they were meant to be played with kits… they only made three of them in 82… and were sparce available from 82-85.
Mind you to be played with? No… these kits you cannot fit a figure in. they are much smaller. And to detail them… they were flash riddled in spots, on trees, and had patterns to paint them, unlike the full size 18th scale toys… I have a picture of my real vamp in a box next to the model, as well as the 25th Anniversary RAM with it’s model counterpart. 18th vs. 24th scale.
I’d recommend getting them just cause you like G.I.Joe and it’s always fun to build on your own thing with them!
as for me… I still have a lot of my vintage era ARAH Joes. But I also have quite an extensive collection of the modern era joes 2001-2011
Those of you who have the old toys and let your children play with them… Next time you`re in a Target or some walmarts or even Ross or TJMaxx… Introduce your little ones to their era of Joes… You may find that they share much with our era joes. the 30th Anniversary is comming up from 1982-present… head to target around august … You might see something on the shelf that you parents will say’’ I had tha… wait… I can have it again!" … The Skystriker has returned:) Yes I’m looking to get one so I can have one in a box, plus I may get two more… one to take out and one to completely strip , prime and scratch build into a VF-84 Jolley Rogers(1978)- CVN 68
