Revell Charger as "The General Lee"

Nice build!

Nice work!

Thanks, Fly-n-hi!!

And thanks too, Aaron! I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy day to look in!

I never watched the show but nice model!

looks great. i used the same kit for the same build and must admit yours looks far better.

Thanks, Jim! Ironically, I wasn’t a huge fan of the show–only Daisy Duke! lol! But my fiance’s brother was a huge fan, and he really appreciated the model when I gave it to him–and that was worth the effort!

Thank you so kindly, Roscoe; that’s a very generous thing to say!

I never swing by autos, but that’s a sweet build!

My only quibble is the presentation. The display case is nice and all, but distinctly lacking in the General jumping over/onto/off of something!

Thanks, brother Doogs, but I have been so busy traveling and recording and trying to still make time for my fiancee’ that I literally finished this a day before leaving for NY and stopping by her brother’s house on the way. I had no time to build a diorama, and besides, the knowledge of how many of these beautiful Chargers they destroyed in the making of the show gives me nightmares already as it is! I don’t think I"d have been able to mock-up that without paying for it in lost sleep! lol!

Or instead of the “jump”, it could sit in front of the “Boar’s Nest”…

Man! Great job, Karl. I too, have been absent for a few months and it sure was good to fall right back in it with another of your fine pieces of automobile artistry.

The Confederate flag issue would be laughed out this state (Virginia). Check this link for an example of Rebel commercialism at its finest: www.dixiervsuperstore.com/custompage.asp

Gotta love this place!

Thanks, Lee! I appreciate you commenting! Always good to hear from one of the “Old Guard”!

Down here in NC, there are monuments to Robert E. Lee everywhere. I’ve seen quite a few vehicles still sporting “the colors” too. It a reminder that I"m not “up North” any more, ha ha.

Wow, this is done very well…the subtle “dirtying” of the tyres is really nice…interior and engine is awesome!

Manny—Thanks, buddy! You know I appreciate ya looking in! How’ve you been? I"m going to Asheville NC for the weekend; I’ll talk to you when I get back on Monday! Hope you’re well!

Perfect detailing!!

Thanks, evo_lover!!
