Revell 07080 BMW Z8 in Alclad Candy Orange

Hi,
That looks great. It could easily be mistaken for a full size car. I can’t believe how quickly you were able to build it.
Pat
hi thanks mate tbh there is no engine in the kit so cuts building time in half lol
Outstanding! Could be a sure winner at a show. [Y]

thanks mate , never been to a show yet only been building just under 3 years lol ![]()
Oh man, that is one good looking car and a great looking model. I love the orange color.
BMW had real problems with the frames of the early Z cars. The frame of the Z8 is cast aluminum. The frame at the front shock towers permanently distorts and bends if the car hits large bumps, such as a big pothole. This causes the hood to get wedged against the front fenders. The torque from the engine of the M version of the Z3 can snap the spot welds that fasten the differential to the underpan of the car. If not repaired the differential could fall to the pavement. The old Triumph TR6 had a similiar issue.
Spectacular nice build
