Revell B-17F new pix

I made a mess of the little decals on the prop blades, got silvering all over the place. Gotta learn to use the decal set all the time! The engines are done, and the exhaust pipes can be seen, still attached to their sprue. Yup, I still do that, have for a very long time. Even though I hadn’t broken off any of the little antennas, I decided to make replacements from brass. The two smaller ones on the bottom of the fuselage are .010 thick, and the long upper one is .032. I drilled a hole near the top of the upper to attach the antenna wire. I added a small loop to the vertical stabilizer to attach the other end of the wire. Well, gotta go. The temp’s a perfect 200 degrees so it’s a good time to mow the lawn!!! (Yeah RIGHT) [:(!] Gary

That’s a great idea for the antenna connections, I’ll have to give that a try.

I think your surface had too much of a matt finish [:-^], thats why they silvered try glossing the parts first before you put your decals on [tup]
