Revell '39 Chevy Delivery Van

Hope you all don’t mind as I am posting what I have recently completed. As the title says, a Revell kit and it was quite a nice kit to put together. This would be a show car, so nice and shiny.

I have two more vehicles left to show and that should be it for awhile. Perhaps I could try a wip post next.

Well done Sir… I love the root beer metallic color!

That looks so cool! I love the old panel style trucks. What colors did you use? Your figure reminds me of “Al” from “Home Improvement”. Great looking build.

Hi and thanks for looking in. I used rustoleum rattle cans on this, metallic copper and i think it was a sand color for the top.

Looks pretty darned good. I’ve got that kit. Built it way back in the day before I was old enough to drive. Still have it somewhere in the stash, awaiting a rebuild. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours. Good choice on the colour combination

Thanks Frozin, no big design choice for me. I pretty much used the box art as a guide. Look forward to see what you do with yours when you get to it.

This is the original box art from mine.

I got it for the decals which I used on a wooden Cub Scout car I had made. I kind of wish I still had that decal sheet for the rebuild.

Wow, an old Monogram kit. The molds have held up very well, hardly any flash on the parts. I think they must have retooled them.
