Revell 1/48th Harrier Canopy Broke -- HELP!

Hey all,

I recently bought a Revell 1/48th Harrier on Ebay. I got the box in the mail and the canopy (the small one behind the main canopy) was broke in half. I can’t return the model. I have both parts of the canopy.

I checked on Squadron and Falcon for a replacement. No go.

Revell doesn’t have them in stock as a replacement (the kit is too old).

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don’t want to scrap the kit.

Glue it back together and vacform a new one would be my suggestion.

Here where I live they have these model “swap meets” every few months. I see those 1/48 Revell Harriers all the time for just a few bucks. Find out if there are any of these swap meets in your area and see if you can find a new Harrier kit. Sure, you’re gonna just waste most of the kit but at least you can get a replacement canopy for cheap.
