Eugene, great job on this kit! You don’t see many of these on the contest tables and I can’t figure out why because this is a great kit! How did you get the decals to “snuggle down” over the corrugated skin?

Well,I brushed on some Microsol prior to applying the decals ,then brushed more on .I applied more a couple days after and the decals all snuggled down ,No clear coat needed.
Very nice work Eugene! [:D[ [:D[ [:D[
Got one on the bench now. Doesn’t look 1/2 as good as yours. Had a bunch of trouble with the engines. Took a while to sort it out. Later on, noticed some of those tiny mounts for the flaps and elevators were missing. I’ve lost a couple more while handling the plane, building and painting. Saving the time when I work on replacing them until I get further on in the build when I don’t have to handle it so much. Those mounts are very delicate. Thinking of making them out of metal so they’ll take a little more handling. Im doing it as 2./KGtzbV500, Russia, March, 1942.
Stay Safe.

I am sure you will sort out the issues Really nice kit!
Well done, Eugene. Someday I will get to the one in my stash.
It has a full interior too!
