Here’s my completed LUT with Saturn V, Apollo 13, just in time for the 40th anniversary. April 11th she lifted off. I was actually there and saw her take off. We were on our way back home to Michigan when the problems started.

That is really something Rob!!!

You’re bringing it to the show right!!!

Thanks Fermis. I’m going to go, but I don’t think I’m going to bring this. It looks good from 3 feet, but thats it…I’ll bring a few to show. What are you bringing?

Cheers

I haven’t really norrowed down all of em, but a few: 1/32 A-10, 1/48 P-61, P-51(racer), CH-46, probably a couple more.

Is there a show coming up? I’d love to attend. Where do you find out about shows in MI?

I’d really like to see the LUT in person as well !!

Thanks, Chris

Alright Rob, …BRING IT!!! I’ll remind you of the “flyer”…BEST AIRCRAFT!!!

You may have a BEST OF SHOW here!!!

Bring it, bring it!!! C’mon man!!!

WZ2, check www.ipmswarren.com for details on the show. There is 3 shows in MI annually.

  1. Bay City…usually in Feb/Mar

  2. Warren …Spring(May 1 this year/Region IV)

  3. Kalamazoo…Oct.

Cool! Thanks!

Chris

Sweet!!! I’ll be there for sure…as will Rob,… with this beast!!!

Right Rob…Right!!!

Tell ya what Fermis…You come over my house and look at it first. If you still think it’s good enough, I’ll take it.

No need to come to your house, I can see it from here!!!

BRING IT!!!

Oh yeah, and don’t forget the “Bone” and the “Flyer” again!!!

And anything else!!!

Bone has no weapons yet, flyer already won as did the Sopwith Camel. I’ll probably bring the Wildcat, Mosquito, and Hustler

Sweet!!!

Although the flyer & camel have already won, they are still eligible for entry. They won at a “local” show, this one coming up is “Regional”. Up to you though, of course. I don’t mind NOT competing against them!!!

Today is the 40th anniversary of Apollo 13 liftoff…

Proud to be an American

Many thanks for doing this.

I’ve been building the same paper kit in the UK.

Your progress posts, and pictures especially, have been invaluable in keeping me on the right track - not to mention inspiring me to aim for a high standard of model (which I think I’ve achieved - just got the swing arm receivers etc to do )…

Once agian, many thanks

I had that kit as a kid. Nice work!

That really looks great! I have that paper kit sitting in my shelf and I’m wondering how you got the pages to flatten out so you could cut the parts out? Right now mine is all rolled up as mailed.
