Retired in Saint Louis Missouri

Finally have time on my hands, after 35 years in the computer industry, and raising three great kids.

I haven’t built a plastic model in over fifty years, and I’m sure things have changed drastically. My last model was a 1932 Ford “Vicky” with racing slicks on the rear.

So, I think I’m starting easy with a M1A1 1/35 tank by Italeri. I think maybe eventually I would enjoy dioramas.

I know there aint no such thing as a stupid question, but I guarantee I will test that theory.

Looking forward to learning from you o’l pro’s and thanking you in advance.

“Enter freely and of your own will…” said a strange voice as though not used to human speech. (We’re all a little mad here.)

Welcome to the forum, got a great bunch of modelers here more than willing to help with all your modeling questions, so ask away .

Welcome to the forums Steve. There are a few good hobby shops in your area. If you have not been there try CRM hobbies on Eichelberger Street a look. They have a huge selection of stuff. Also try Mark Twain Hobbie on West Clay Street in Saint Charles, or even Schaffer Hobbies on Graviois by Grants Farm a visit.

Post some pictures when you build something…we love pictures.

Thanks guys. Planning on digging right in. See you in the air brushing area.
