Resin wheels and tires for 1/24 Sprint Car

is there any way to make resin parts that are “soft” resin…like kit vinyl tires? a set of tires from an action diecast 2002 Danny Lasoski sprint car that i want to use on my (currently on hold due to broken hand) project of updating the re-box of steve kinsers sprint car to modern standards. i want to build a few more of these sprint cars and modernize them, but that means getting modern tires. i dont know much about resin (actually i know next to nothing about it) and was just wondering if someone could either copy the tires and wheels for me (not for free of course, i would cover materials and shipping etc) or point me in the right direction to start doing resin stuff myself.

any help would be greatly apprecited!

Regards, Logan

You could make them out of RTV instead of resin. But to me a better way would be to make the pattern with a bulge at the bottom. Otherwise you are relying on the weight of the model to make the bulge and that may be difficult- you may have to add weight to the finished model. You could turn the pattern for the tire, then flatten the bottom and add the bulge on the side with putty and shape it. Resin casting is not that hard to do, and I would encourage you to give it a try.
