I’m in dire need of a set of slats for the Me-410 (1:48) kit, even the .stl file if possible so I can have a set 3-D printed. I’ve tried eBay and searched all over the globe. Cutting Edge & Meteor have closed up shop. There has to be a set of these, or at least the .stl files somewhere. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!
Would this be an option?

I’m afraid these parts were mastered in the old school way, before the spread of 3D digital modeling. If I would make one suggestion for anyone making new slat: put the support arms on the slat, not the wing insert! I banged them off several times during the build. The slats could then be one of the last parts to the build, and heartaches be minimized. ![]()
Thanks. Maybe, but I don’t see the leading edge slats on the diagram. I emailed them.
Yes, definitely the old school resin pours from what I see. I may very well end up fabricating my own, either from thin brass sheeting or styrene. This will take some thought. I have a neighbor with a 3D printer, but he said he’s need the .stl file because measuring this out with the angle of curvature would be too much for him to do.
I was looking at your link. The model #'s of the product are different and then I noticed in the instructions that this package doesn’t include the leading edge slats. Looks like I might be doing some primitive scratch build work on those
Just an update, only 50% of the hobby shops responded to my inquiry and none of them have the product anymore. Looks like I’ll have to fabricate my own with either thin brass sheeting or stock styrene. Until then, I have a 1:144 diorama to do with a Me-110 & Spitfire to build up the courage.

Old school!
I envy those that can scratch build, it’s impressive, I’ve never tried and most likely never will.
I’ll be lookin’ forward to seeing what you’ll be doing with this one Jack. I do love me an Me-410.
