Everyone,
I found out about this really cool looking Light Artillery Piece in a trade magazine on die castings.
I don’t remember what the exact name of it was, but I can describe it.
U.S. Army
155mm
It was mounted on a cruciform mount
The towing pintal was mounted on the muzzle brake
It is suppose to be a newer lighter version of the current 155.
Is there a kit available of this piece???
I fear no resin, so that’s not an issue.
Thanks Everyone!!!

Never Ever heard of something like that–wait until Rob comes on-he can straighten this out
Is this it Latch ???
If it is it’s the M777 … don’t know much about it though.
No problem … couldn’t find any kits of it though.
That is the new 155mm Lightweight Howitzer M777 still being tested. It has not been fielded yet. It is meant to replace the M198 in Light and Medium Divisions. It would make a cool model. Hopefully someone will make one in 1/35 plastic. I am still waiting on a plastic M198.
Here it is in firing configuration:
Boy Robert that was to easy for you![:D]
That’s cool Gino, thanks for sharing the pics.
Thanks Robert and Gino.
I appreciate the pictures being posted so everybody can get a look at this piece of artillery.
Really cool, low, “mean” looking item.
Maybe someone will come out with a kit in the near future.
