Replacing "Old" Kits

A few weeks ago, just before I registered here and got back into modeling, I stumbled across a link to gentleman’s website who was selling “old” kits. His operation was out of Arizona and it looked like he had a basement full… 1000’s of kits… and the site looked “home made”.

I swear I added it to my Favorites but apparently not [:(]

I checked the ads in this month’s FSM but didn’t find it. I think it might have been in a previous issue.

Would one of you folks happen to have that link?

Much thanks in advance!

Hope these help.

Rare Plane Detective! That’s they guy!
I had the state wrong but that was absolutely the site.

Thanks Steel!

Check out the other sites too. Lots of old kits on the others. Glad I could help.

Lots of kits to drool over. It’s like the old Sears and JC Penny wish books, (catalogs). Anyone remember those things?

Great sites, Rudi!! I have been to the Rare-Plane Detective site many times but, I didn’t even know about the other two!! Thanks!!

I remember the Sears & Roebuck catalogs for another reason besides a “wish book”! [yuck] [:-^] [swg]

Yes I remember the wish books well! Are you talking the toy section or the OTHER section. You know the one. Had women on the pages if memory serves me correctly. LOL[(-D]

Kind of like Radar and his National Geographics mag’s. [:-^][(-D]

Actually, Rudi…I hadn’t thought of that [}:)]. I was thinking along the lines of the “Ode To The Little Brown Shack”!!! [(-D]
